ACQUIRED BY NEW INTERESTS. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, i LONDON, September 23. (Received Sept. 24, at 9 p.m.) The sale of Sir John Ellerman’s weekly illustrated newspapers is officially announced. The price was approximately £3,000,000.—A. and N.Z. Cable. It was recently reported that negotiations Were practically completed for the sale of Sir John Ellerman’s weeklies—The Sphere, The Illustrated London News, The Tatler, The Sketch, Eve, and the Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News. The purchasers are a group of members of the Invercsk Paper Company.
