MISTAKEN IDENTITY.

Sir,— My attention has been drawn to a report published in your issue of September 13 from your Wellington correspondent, in which you credit me with being a Reform supporter and a member of the Wellington Education Board, and as havjng been connected with the miiddlcmont that has taken place lately in the affairs of that board. I have never been a member of the hoard, and am not a Reform supporter. Your correspondent elearlv meant the present member for Vollington East. Many people are under the impression to day as the result of your error that I have been connected with the board and the late happenings. Please, therefore, make this correction as early as nossible and give the same prominence to the correction as to the published error.—l am, etc., A. E. Mokteitu. Wellington, September 18.
