Tex Rickard, promoter of the fight, is named as garnishee for bail to secure Dempsey’s assets, which are fixed at 000,000 dollars. Rickards is prepared to cover bonds to the extent of a million dollars, if necessary, to prevent any court action interfering with the fight. Mr Clements (president of the Chicago Coliseum Club) has filed a bill iu equity to stop the fight, and is asking the Pennsylvania Common Pleas court to recognise the injunction ho obtained in Indianapolis last week.
