(From Oor Own Correspondent.) TAFAXUI, September 16. Mr h. Dickson, the stationmastcr at Kelso, 'who has been transferred to Waikera Junction, was presented with a wellfilled wallet, by the residents of the district on Friday last prior to his departure. Mr A. G. D. Sliand, stock inspector, who was transferred from Lumsden, has taken up his residence in Tapanni and assumed tho duties lately carried on by Mr R. Barron, who resigned from the department On Friday evening (ho members of (tie Tnpanui Presbytery choir presented the choirmaster, Mr J. CJ. M’Clymont, with a silver-mounted ebony baton, suitably inscribed, as a slight token of the esteem and respect in which he is held by the members.
