BANK ROBBERY
A DARING EXPLOIT. POLICE RECOVER PROCEEDS. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) PERTH, September 16. Two armed men entered the Mount Lawley branch of the Western Australian Bank, locked the manager and his assistant in the storeroom, and took £335 in notes and silver from the safe, and then calmly walked into the street. The locked-up officials managed to lelease themselves, and informed the police, who later arrested the robbers and recovered the whole of the missing money. The men ivere recent arrivals from England.
