Two armed men entered the Mount Lawley branch of the Western Australian Bank, locked the manager and his assistant in the storeroom, and took £335 in notes and silver from the safe, and then calmly walked into the street. The locked-up officials managed to lelease themselves, and informed the police, who later arrested the robbers and recovered the whole of the missing money. The men ivere recent arrivals from England.
