The present position is that the market in London for eggs is weak, and the best offers at present available leave the Auckland producer Is 3d per dozen. On this basis only 309 crates—each containing 30 dozen eggs—have been secured for the Connthic, which loads at this port on September 19, against 1000 which had at one time been expected.
