COLLISION WITH CAR
MAORI DRIVER CHARGED. (Feb United Press Association.) GISBORNE, July 17. George Hapi a Maori, appeared before the magbt'-uto this morning on a charge of reckless driving arising out of injuries received by a young man named Oswald Alexander Burns, who, while cycling on the Makaraka road, «a= struck hi a car driven by Hapi and was seriously hurt. The hearing of the case was adjourned for a week, bail being fixed at £SOO.
