YOUTHFUL MOTORIST CONVICTED. (Peb United Peess Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, July 16. For three years Albert Fransden, a youth in his teens, may not drive a motor car. Mr H. A. Young, S.M., decreed so in the Magistrate’s Court to-day. He was charged with having driven a motor car without having a license, and also with having turned at an intersection before reaching the centre point of the intersection. , _ Counsel told the court that Fransden and another youth, both of whom earned quite small wages, had bought a car for £BO, each paying £7 10s deposit. They had had the car only five days when Fransden collided with another car, resulting in the present proceedings.
