It was decided that the board would have no objection to the clause in the Order-in-Council so far as the effect of the scour of the harbour was concerned. COATES CRESCENT AND WILLIS STREET FORMATION. ■ The sub-committee of the board reported as follows: - t Your committee has to report that it has visited these streets, and has directed the secretary to express to the City Council regret at the proposal to construct a footpath on the centre of the roadway, also to request very specially that that portion of the footpath be eliminated opposite oui “T” shed, if the council will not eliminate the footpath for the full length. _ Your committee has instructed the engineer to carry out the work in Coates Crescent at an estimated cost of £650. Tlie report was adopted. AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE. The Otago Expansion League wrote advising that it was holding a meeting on Tuesday night to discuss the proposed College of Agriculture in the North Island.
