OBITUARY
MR FREDERICK HARRISON. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON. June 13. The death is announced of Mr Frederick Harrison, who was formerly associated in the management of the Haymarket Theatre —A. and N.Z. Cable. The late Mr Harrison, who was bom in London and educated at King’s College Sch, ol and later at Cambridge where he graduated M.A.. made his first appearance on the stage in 1886. Nine years later he joined Forbes Robertson in the management of the Lyceum and in 1896 be became sole lessee of the Haymarket. in the management of which he was associated with Mr Cyril Maude. From time to time he again appeared on the stage himself, but in 1909 he relinquished his connection with the theatre. He again resumed active management in 1911 and between then and the time of his retirement a few years ago he produced many notable plays, including Barrie’s “Mary Rose.”
