THREE MEN MISSING.

ANXIETY FOR THEIR SAFETY. (Pub United Press Association.) ROTORUA, May 31. Anxiety is felt for the safety of three men—Gustave Wolfgramm, a settler, Douglas, and Davis—who left Rotorua at 7 o’clock on Saturday night, presumably intending to return to Ngongotaha, in a 14-foot boat with an outboard engine. The men’s relatives, becoming alarmed, secured a launch, and assisted by the police, are searching Lake Rotoiti. The missing men intended to go fishing on Sunday morning from Ngongotaha. The boat was well equipped with oars and rowlocks. There have boon no heavy winds, slight southerlies prevailing. There is a possibility that the party, owing to Monday being the last day of the fishing season, went direct to Rotoiti. News of the return of the launch is anxiously awaited.
