1 OTAGO EXECUTIVE. The weekly meeting of the executive | of the Otago Rugby Football League was 1 held last night. Mr T. M. Gillies (chairman) presided. | Accounts amounting to £lO were passed .for payment. The Kaikorni Club was granted the use |of the Oval on Thursday morning for a 1 match between its first and second grade | teams. The question of erecting a dressing room on Chisholm Park was held over in the i meantime. I An application from the Otago Hockey Association for the postponement of I matches on June 19 was declined on the | ground of the time lost earlier In the : season on account of bad weather and the programme ahead. The tender of Messrs A. and T. Burt (£l4 15s) for lighting on the North Ground was accepted. The question of arranging for lighting on the Robin Hood Ground 'was left in the hands of the chairman. I It was decided to piny a match between , the Athletic and Pacific junior teams on the 1 Caledonian Ground on Saturday as a cur-tain-raiser to the Canterbury-Otago match. ! the spells to be of half an hour each. 1 C. F. Bezar, who is now training with Eastern Suburbs, Sydney, was granted a clearance from the Christian Bros.’ Club It was decided that n time-keeper lie appointed for all senior matches on the Caledonian Ground for the rest of the season, (lie appointments to be left in the : hands of the Referees’ Association. ; The question of arranging a trial match between the Otago team and another thirteen on the Oval on Thursday afternoon was left to the Selection Committee and the secretary. ; The following senior matches were arranged for June 12:—Christian Brothers ! v. Pacific, on the Caledonian Ground, at 1.30 p.m.; City v. Athletic, on the Caledonian Ground, at 3 p.m.; Kaikorai v. | Kaitnngata, at Kaitangata. I CANTERBURY TEAM. I The following players have been selected to represent Canterbury against South Canterbury in Tiniaru on Thursday, and against Otago in Punedin on Saturday;— , Full-back, G.
