A TIRESOME JOURNEY. COMPLETED IN CREAM LORRY. (Per United Press Association.) TE KUITI, May 27. The Prime Minister had a tiresome journey to Mokauiti yesterday afternoon, whore, in the course of his tour of the King Country, he opened a new hall for the Returned Soldiers’ Association. He set out by motor from Wainihn, but the clay portions of the road proved,impassable, and « quarter of a mile of mudcovered road was traversed on foot, the rest of the journey being Completed by buggy and cream lorry. In the evening, after his tedious journey, Mr Coates turned on the current of the Wairere Power Hoard's hydro-eloctic system of Piopio. He was afterwards entertained at a smoke concert.
