ARMAMENT LIMITATION
THE PREPARATORY CONFERENCE. PLENARY SESSION IN SEPTEMBER. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) GENEVA. May -27. (Receded May 27, at 8 p.m.) The preparatory Disarmament Commission has closed. It is expected that a plenary session will be opened in September. . . Viscount Cecil declared two positive results had been achieved —first, the proper subjects for disarmament had been specified and, secondly, all countries had been recommended to prepare and present a definite scheme for the reductions in war material and personnel which they will be able to make. He believes that the conference proper cannot he held until late in 1927.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
