The Cargill Road Methodist Harriers ran from the Ravensbourne Church. Tho Civil Service Harriers held thoiar weekly run from the Port Chalmers Rowing Club's shed, there being a large attendance. The fast pack, under Captain Brown, held a run home from here along the cinder path, Olsen and E. L. Brown leading the way at the finish. After passing those hays the trail led uphill on the side of Mihiwaka, and after following a long spur came down on to the far end of Long Bench, along which a good run was indulged in. On gaining the other end of the bench the road was followed to the junction of the road that loads to Purakanui Township. The club was then entertained by Messrs Frye. Some 2S runners of tho Pacific Harriers participated in the weekly run from Wnkari School. On account of the snow paper was dispensed with, and the runners were divided into two packs.
