A SOLDIER’S DIVORCE
PATHETIC STORY. HEAVY DAMAGES GRANTED. (Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, May 7. A pathetic divorce story was revealed in the case of Richard Wright, who was blinded by an enemy bomb in the trenches in France in July, 1915. He was grante?! a decree nisi and_ £IOOO damages. The parties were married in 1916, so the petitioner has never seen his wife and two children. His wife and the co-respondent, who was manager of a garage, went to New Zealand. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
