The Opihi sailed last evening for Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton, to complete loading for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth. The Katoa is now timed to sail at noon today for Oamaru, Timaru, Wellington, Picton, and Auckland. The Waipori, which had been bar-bound at Greymouth for about seven days, was expected to sail on Saturday morning for Westport to complete loading for Timaru and Dunedin. The Kamo is to sail to-day for Bluff to complete discharge. She will return to Dunedin on Thursday to load for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne. . The Tekoa will go to Port Chalmers tomorrow to commence Homeward loading. She is listed to sail on Thursday for Napier to land the remainder of her Liverpool cargo and continue loading. The Manuka sailed on Saturday for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Melbourne. She will leave the Victorian port about May 21 for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. She is due at Wellington next Thursday, and will sail from that port on May 15 for London, via Panama. The Mahia, which was delayed in the Wanganui roadstead last week owing to bad weather, is expected at Wellington this evening. She is to sail on Wednesday for Lyttelton, and is timed to sail finally from there on May 18 for London, via Montevideo and Teneriffe. An expected arrival at Auckland to-day is the Wairuna with case oil and general cargo from Pacific Coast ports. After discharge at Auckland the Wairuna is to proceed to Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. The Kawatiri is to load at Adelaide on May 24, and will complete at Melbourne for Auckland and Wellington. The steamer Min was to have sailed from New York on April 22 cargo-laden for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The Maunganui left Sydney on Friday afternoon for Wellington. She is due at the northern port to-morrow, and will leave on her return trip on Friday. KOROMIKO RE-COMMISSIONED. The turret-deck steamer Koromiko, which has been laid up at Port Chalmers for several months past, will be re-commissioned to-dav. She is to sail to-night for Westport "to load. Captain D. MacDonald will be in command of the vessel. RUAHINE LEAVES SOUTHAMPTON. Cabled advice states that the Ruahine left London on May 5 and Southamcton on May 7 for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers, via Curacao and Panama. She is bringing passengers and cargo, and is due at Lyttelton on June 12. The vessel should reach Port Chalmers about June 19. WAIKOUAITI FROM SYDNEY. The freighter Waikouaiti arrived in the lower harbour yesterday morning from Newcastle and Sydney, and after undergoing medical and Customs inspection, berthed at the Birch street wharf at 1.30 p.m. to discharge a large quantity of general merchandise. Her freight includes transhipments from a number of oversea vessels. The Waikouaiti is to sail to-morrow for Lyttelton and Timaru to complete discharge. WAIWERA REACHES LONDON. The Waiwera, which left Auckland on March 12 for London, via New York and Boston, arrived at London on May 5. o THE CITY OF MELBOURNE. The steamer City of Melbourne arrived at Auckland early on Saturday morning from New York, via Panama. The vessel is carrying general American cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australian ports. She is due here about May 22. OTIRA AT LONDON. The Otira, which left Wellington on March 19, arrived at London on May 6. The Otira proceeded via Montevideo, Teneriffe, and Hull. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE. EX-GERMAN STEAMER. The Pareora, which is due at Auckland to-day from Liverpool, via Panama, is an ex-German steamer, built at Bremen in 1915. She was first named the Falkenfels, but after being taken over by the Hain Line she was rochristened the Tredenham. Later she was acquired by the Federal Line and given her present name. She is a single screw steamer of 8135 tons gross. NORTHERN STEAMSHIP COMPANY. For the year ended March 31 last the Northern Steamship Company (Ltd.), secured 2 net profit of £13,328, and with £8369 brought forward there was available £21,697. The dividend for the year, at the rate of 8 per cent, per annum, half of which was paid as an interim dividend, absorbed £12,913, leaving £8784 to be carried forward. The dividend distribution is the same as In the past year.
