DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. Ka'v.'i'aus weakened slightly on the Dunedin Stock Exchange dining the past week. On Monday one parcel changed hands at 7s 2d, Vint yesterday there were five sales at Ts. The closing quotations were Ts (buyer! and 7a Id (seller). No interest has been shown in St. Bathans, for which sellers still ask Is premium. Waihis are wanted at 20s Id, but sellers will not take less than 20s Cd. The dividend is due on May 18. Buyers offer 9d premium for Molyncux Electrics, sellers asking 2s. Albumins were added to the list during the week. Yesterday's quotations were 6s 9d (buyer) and 7s 6d (seller) New Waiotalus, for which Is od is offered, and Blackwaters, which have buyers at Cs 3d, are also recent additions Business has been done in Bank of New Zealands at 60s. 9d. At present inquiry is being made at 60s, sellers asking 61s. Other stocks are firm. Now Zealand Breweries have improved, and inquiry is now being made at 5Ss 3d. Sellers will not take less than 595. Staples are also better. A buyer offered 38s Gd yesterday, seders quoting at 40s. National Insurances are on offer at 81s without inquiry. New Zealands are wanted at 39s 4d, sellers asking 4cl more. Huddart, Parker ovds, are quieter. Buyers are offering 43s Gd. Westport Coals are slightly better. The present buying quotation is 36a, but 36s 3d was offered on one occasion. New Zealand Kefrigerating shaies have had a quieter demand. Buyers of the paids offer 16s 6d and of the contributing shares 7s 'Cd. Dominion Rubbers are wanted at 50s with a seller at 53s 6d. Kaiapoi Woollens made a further improvement about the middle of the week, when a sale of ords. was reported at 13s 6d. On the same day buyers offered 13a 3d, sellers replying at 13s 9d. Y’esterday the quotations were 12s 3d (buyer) and 13s 9d (seller). Government Stock is in good demand. Sales; Kawaraai G.M. Co., 7s (five). Sale reported; Whitcombe and Tombs, 695.
