DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. The outstanding feature of the Dnnedia Stock Exchange yesterday wa* a slump in St. Balkans shares. A sale of the A issue waa effected at 3a premium at the morning call, but in the afternoon there was a big drop in the price, and a parcel was turned over at la discount. The closing quotation! were 3s discount and Is 6d discount. A transaction in Kawaraus at 6s Id waa reported, buyers afterwards offering 6s 2d. Sellers would not part at less than 6e 4d. There was no response to an inquiry for Standard Insurances at 31s. Sales: Union Bank, £ls; New Zealand Loan and Mercantile (ord.), £35; St. Bathans (A issue), 3s premium, It discount.
