NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIPS. (Pr,ii Ukited Peess Associatiok.) WELLINGTON, April 13. At a meeting of the New Zealand Golf Council, the Wairoa (Hawke's Bay), Parkvale (Hastings), and Waimarino (Raetihi) Clubs were elected members. It was reported that three professionals were at present touring the country cluba under arrangements made with the association. Mr Lindsay Ross’s tour comprises Hawera, Rangiora, Greymouth, Hokitika, Blenheim, and Martinborough; Mr F. M. Dean is doing Te Kmti, Otorohanga, Taumarnui, Waihi, and Whangarei; and Mr John Lambie has gone to Tolaga Bay, Tokomaru Bay, Opotiki, Whakatane. and possibly Tauranga. The dates of the New Zealand open and amateur championships tournament, to be played on the Miramar (Wellington) Links, were fixed ns follow: —Friday, October 15, to October 23, both inclusive.
