IN SEARCH OF SPORT.

TOURING AMERICANS. VISIT TO NEW ZEALAND. (From Oub Owfc Correspondent.) AUCKLAND, April 13. The Cunard liner Carinthia, which visited Auckland and Wellington last December in the course of a world-cruise with a party of American tourists, will again visit New Zealand at the end of this year. The ship will probably make a slightly longer stay than it did last year. The trip will be distinctive on account of the fact that it is intended to cater for a special branch of sport during the trip. Both fishing and golf have been mooted, but at present it seems as if the party will be nv'de up mainly of men who enjoy a game of golf. Added to the scenic features of the trip will be the attraction of a couple of days of golf in the centres they visit. It is thought that time will not permit an extension of their tour to the South Island. In the North Island the parties will visit the Waitomo Caves, Rotorua and Wairakei, the date fixed for the Waitomo visit being December 28.
