OVERCROWDED MOTOR BUSES.

TO THE EDITOE. Sir, —The Exhibition period has been an abnormal time for both trams and buses. But it would he wise for the powers that be not to make a habit of overcrowding the motor buses, as is the recognised custom on tram cars. I allude specially to the hill buses, which are sometimes so packed that the driver has hardly elbow; room to do his work, passengers standing even on the step—a practice which is not allowed on a tramcar. The buses, are only built to carry a specified load.—l am, etc., April 10. Safety First.
