When the housewife orders “K” Jam, Laundrine Soap, or any other commodity that is distinctively labelled she gets what she orders. There is no possibility of substitution. But with coal it is an absolutely different story. It is difficult to tell coal by its appearance. The fore it is an easy matter for the dealer to substitute—if he happens to be that kind of a dealer, of course. When you order "Waronui”—the most economical coal—yon can tell, as socn as you have bu.at a little, whether “Waronui” has been supplied to you, because “Waronui” is the coal with the heavy, dark brown ash.
