SEQUEL TO MOTOR ACCIDENT. (Pee United Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, March 29. At the conclusion of the inquest into the circumstances of the death of Frederick Witty, who was killed on the North road on March 8, the coroner returned a verdict that deceased met his death through being run over by a car driven by John Guy Dennison. Dennison is <he engineer engaged by the Southland County Council to supervise the work of bitu* minising the North road. The evidence showed that deceased, who was riding a bicycle, had been struck from behind and thrown against the windscreen of the car. Dennison was ar-ested and charged with manslaughter, bail being allowed in one surety of £2OO. _ was remanded to appear on April 7.
