An indication that new methods are being adopted in connection with the preparation of business for Parliament is the fact that a Cabinet meeting held to-day was occupied mainly with the consideration of Bills for the coming session. For man3> years now there has been a slackness in getting Bills ready for presentation at the beginning of the session, but Mr Coates apparently is determined to have the Bills ready for consideration at an earlier date than usual.
