CONFISCATION OF PROPERTY. A NATIONAL PLEBISCITE. (Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright.) BERLIN, March 24. According to the provisional official figures, 12,500,000 people signed the demand for a plebiscite whether the property of the ex-rulers should be confiscated without compensation. Fifty per cent.- of the total electorate, or about 20,000,000, must vote for the plebiscite, but it is doubtful whether this ‘ figure will bo reached. — Reuter.
