The Breeze arrived here yesterday morning, from Wanganui, via porta. She d)»charged and loaded a largo quantity of general cargo, and sailed last night for Timar*, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. Tire Kurow sailed last evening for Timaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington and Auckland. The Hain Line steamer Tredinnick sailed at 2 p.m. yesterday for Westport. After replenishing her bunkers there she will pr- ceed to Sydney, where the remainder of her Canadian cargo will be discharged. The Kamo sailed at midday yesterday for Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton, to complete loading for Wellington, Nap.ar, and Gisborne. The Karetu is row due at Dunedin this morning from Timaru to continue discharging general cargo and timber from Newcastle and Sydney. She will sail about Tuesday for Oamaru, Bluff, and Sydney. The Holmdale is due here this morning from Wellington direct. She will dock at Port Chalmers on Monday to have a new propeller fitted, und wll load at Dunedin on Tuesday for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. The Gale is due at Dunedin to-morrow from Wanganui, via ports. She is timed to sail on Monday evening for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. Tue Cambridge is to sail from Tokomaru Bay on March j. 6 for London, via Panama. The Trekieve will be due at Lyttelton on March 19 from Wellington to load wool for Dunkirk, Hull, and London, to the agency of G H. Scales and Co. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Curtis arrived at Philadelphia on February 5 from England, en route to New York to load for Auckland, Gisborne, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and New Plymouth She is to clear New York for New Zealand on March 17. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Opawa arrived at Hobart on February 7 from Melbourne to continue loading. The vessel next proceeds to Adelaide. The New Zealand Shipping Companv advises that the Tongariro will leave Wellington to-morrow morning for Picton to load for London. She will subsequently load also at Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Wellington. The vessel will sail finally from Wellington on March 31 for London, via Panama. The Waitemata, from Pacific Coast ports, was to leave Napier yesterday for Lyttelton, Dunedin, Timaru, and New Plymouth to discharge the remainder of her cargo. ARGYLLSHIRE TO LOAD. Messrs Turnbull, Martin, ajid Co. advises that the steamer Argyllshire left Sydney on Thursday mornng for Gisborne to commence loading for London. The vessel is expected at Port Chalmers early in April to continue loading. INKULA FROM NEW YORK. The Inkula, under charter to tho C. and D. Line, is expected at Wellington to-day from New York, via Auckland, to continue discharge of New York cargo. She will later visit Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, and New Plymouth. The Inkula will afterwards proceed to Port Firie to load a full cargo of concentrates for the United Kingdom. KAITOKE LEAVES ADELAIDE. Advice received by the Union Company states that the Kaitoke left Adelaide on Wednesday morning with South Australian products for discharge at Auckland, Welling ton, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is due here about March 27. CUMBERLAND FROM LIVERPOOL. Messrs Turnbull, Martin, and Co. advises that the Federal Line steamer Cumberland arrived at Auckland late on Thursday night from Liverpool, via Panama. The vessel is laden with general merchandise lor discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She should arrive here about April 1. . THE CANADIAN CHALLENGER. The Canadian Government Line s'*amer Canadian Challenger arrived at Auckland yesterday from Halifax. The vessel, after discharging part cargo at Auckland, will proceed to Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, and Bluff to complete discharge, and load for New York, Boston, and Halifax. CARGO FROM CANADA. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the motor ship Sally Maersk is scheduled to leave St. John on March 25 with Canadian cargo for discharge at New Zealand ports. She will be followed by the steamer Wirral, which is listed to leave St. John on April 20 ROTORUA’S ITINERARY. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Rotorua, which is due at Wellington on March 20 with pasengers, mail, and cargo, from London and Southampton, will discharge at Wellington and Auckland, and will then load for her homeward voyage at Auckland, Napier, Lyttelton, and Wellington. She is scheduled to clear Wellington finally on April 24 for Southampton and London, via Pitcairn Island, Panama, and Curacao. C. AND D. LINE STEAMERS. The Port Campbell arrived at Dunkirk on March 2 from Australian ports. The vessel left Fremantle (her last Australian loading port) on January 29. •*>* The Port Napier, from Australian ports, arrived at Antwerp on March 1. This vessel is scheduled to leave London on March 24 tor Suva, Auckland, Dunedin, and New Plymouth. Tho Port Brisbane is to leave Melbourne on March 18 and Fremantle on March 27 for the United Kingdom and Continent. The Port Kembla is expected to leave Adelaide to-day for the United Kingdom and Continental ports. The Port Bowen is scheduled to leave London on March IS for Melbourne, Sydney, Hobart, and Launceston. HUNTINGDON’S LOADING PORTS. Tho Federal Company report that the Hun. tingdon is to go on the loading berth for New York, Boston, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, and Avonmouth, discharging her cargo at the various ports in the order named. She is due to load at Port Chalmers on March 17, at Bluff, on March 24, at Lyttelton, on March 31. at Wanganui, on April 8, at Napier on April 14, at Gisborne on April 19, at Auckland on April 21, at Wellington on April 26, and will sail finally from the latter port on April 29. MOERAKI TO WITHDRAW. The Union Company advises that, on completion of the Moeraki’s present voyage she will be withdrawn from the intercolonial service. Consequently the itinerary of the Manuka will be altered to suit this change. In lieu of making the round trip she will 7un an alternate service—namely, from Melbourne to Bluff direct, thence via coastal ports to Melbourne On the return journey she sails for Wellington direct, thence via coastal ports and Bluff to Melbourne. YURAKINA'S KEW ITINERARY. Tha Federal Campanv announce an alteration in tho loading itinerary of the Turakina, which will now ship cargo for London as well a? West Coast ports of Great Britain. Tha w-sel will commence loading ar New Plymouth about March 20, and will load at Timaru on March 26, at Lyttelton on March 29, at Wellington on March 31, and at Auckland on April 9. ■ The Turakina will sail fim ’.ly from Auckland on April 13 for Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, Avonmouta, and London. PERSONAL ITEMS. Tho Kauri was ictommissioned last week under the command of Captain J. M'Lean, who has with him the following officers: Mr H. A. Brocket!, chief officer; Mr F. W Young, second officer; Mr S. B. Ward, third officer. Mr W. H. Cadwallader has been appointed chief officer of tho Kartigi, relieving Mr G. D. Fraser, who has been appointed chief officer of the Kaikorai. Mr R. G Coyte has been appointed chief officer of the Wahine. Mr G. F. Russell has been appointed_tbird officer of tho Kamo, relieving Mr J. A. M'Arthnr. Mr R. A.
