INVERCARGILL WOOL SALE.
ADVANCE IN PRICES. INCREASE ON DUNEDIN RATES. (Pun United Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, March 12. The second and final wool sale of the season was held here to-day, when a catalogue of 6700 bales was submitted. There was a representative bench of buyers and the quality of the wool considered, prices showed an increase of 2£d on last sales and Id on the Dunedi nsale. The chief prices wore: Medium halfbred 14£d to I6^d; inferior 12d to 14|d ; halfbrnd medium 12|d to 10)|d to 12g; medium crossbred super 14 to 15§d; medium ll£d to 13|d; coarse 10|d to to I2£d ; inferior 9i to 10^; hoggett super 16d; medium 12|d to 15? d ; coarse to 12£d ; wether medium 12d to 14d ; inferior ICUd to Hid ; pieces, first crossbred to 12i; second crossbred 7|d to 9d; bellies, first crossbred 9d to lOd; second, crossbred 7£d to B|d; crutchincs, first crossbred 6|d to 8d : second crossbred sid to 7|d; necks, first crossbred 10|d to IHd ; second crossbred 8d to 93d : matted lO.id to lid; locks, 3.1-d to sJfd ; lamb, first combing 144 d to 17Jd ; second combing Hid to 122 d.
