Ware housemen's Association of Otago has extended a cordin', welcome to all visiting yachtsmen to al! ti e privileges of the association's building in Dowling street during their stay here. Every yachtsman visiting the club is assured of a lieartv welcome, and the association hopes that the men will find time to pay as many visits ns possible. CORNWELL CUP CONTEST. The first races amongst ir.terprovincia! boys for the Cornwell Cup wall be sailed tomorrow afternoon on the upper harbour. The three Takapuna one-design boats which arrived on Tuesday by the steamer Kurow from Auckland, were rigged yesterday in the Raveiiabnurna Boating Club's ahed. One boat suffered slight damage to the bows while in transit from Auckland. The damace has been repaired. The Otago and Wellington boys have been engaged in useful practise during the past three days. Mr 0. Moller, who instituted the Takapuna one-design boats, arrived in Dunedin yesterday afternoon from Auckland to witness the contest. Mr Moller formerly resided in Dunedin, and has always been a keen boating man. His first question, when speaking to an Otago Daily Times reporter, was; Tlow are our boys from A.ucklnnd, and did the boats arrive ' safely ?” He smiled his thanks when informed that the Auckland lads, were fit and ready for the fray. The Canterbury boys arrived in Dunedin last evening.
