PATTERSON DEFEATED IN CHAMPIONSHIP. ("Press Association—By Telegraph —Copyright.) ADELAIDE, January 25. Participating in the .Australian Tennis Championship singles G. L. Patterson was beaten by Queensland’s second player E. F. Moon." The admirable manner in which Moon returned Patterson’s services was the chief factor in the Qneens’ander s success. This is the second occasion in two months that Patterson has been defeated in championship tennis, on both occasions by second grade players.
