PERMANENT WAVING COMPETITION. FINALS NEXT MONTH. (Preen AeeocSalion —By Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, January 22. The finals of the permanent waving contest will be held at the National Sports Club on February 3. Twenty-seven hairdressers, from all parts of Great Britain, have entered, the preliminary heats having been played off. Each hairdresser brings his own girl, who must be shingled. Speed and perfection are points in the competition. It is expected that the winner will have a complete and perfect permanent wave in seventy minutes. The judges twill be five loading hairdressers.
