(Received Ja.u. 19, at 11.35 p.m.) The Opposition left the Chamber, it is understood, as a protest against the brief ■poriofL permitted for a study of the terms of the treaty, which was only revealed the previous day. King Feisul in a speech to the Deputies said that although the treaty was nominally for 25 years', many of its terms oould be modified when Iraq was a member of the League of Nations.—A. and N.Z.
