PRINCESS THEATRE.
Jim Gerald’s stay in Dunedin is approaching its conclusion, and for that reason the title of his latest rovuo is “Farewell Dunedin.” Gerald is seen at nis best as Hector Tripp, employee of Lord Colic. Both lack capital, and their antics in trying to obtain the means of “keeping the wolf from the door” provide a wealth of amusing situations. Gerald’s humour is genuine humour, and the singing and dancing arc well up to the standard of the previous productions. The vaudeville side of the programme includes turns by the Atlantics, the Musical Woatherleys, Henry Walden, and Moms and Cowley. Everyboy will be pleased with the announcement that Jim Gerald and Company will give two final performances on Monday and Tuesday evenings, when Mr Gerald will give first production in New Zealand to his new revue “Once Aboard the Lugges.”
