Erom here you overlook the whole of the lower reaches of Otago Harbour, its bays and beaches, and Port Chalmers on its Peninsula. Further on, as the bus commences to decline to lovely "Waitati, where a stop is made for refreshment, von behold beautiful Blueskin Bay and the coastline to the north. The trip on to Evausdale is an incomparable delight, and visitors always rejoice in the glorious walks through the Glen. At the present time the great profusion of foxgloves growing wild at the head of the Glen is a sight that wins unstinted admiration.
