LOCAL TRAFFIC RETURNS. The City Corporation buses and trams are still running at full capacity, and yesterday every available bus was engaged on observation work. The Waipori trip continues to attract visitors, and the traffic department finds that it is no easy task to cope with the large numbers of passengers offering. , , The new trip to Evanadal© Glen was commenced yesterday. So many booked up for the first trip, that the department sent an extra load to relieve the pressure. Those who made tha trip were more than delighted and considered it the best yet The crowds on the express train services continue above normal.. Yesterday’s figures show a diop on the previous day. Inward passengers numbered 1658 and outward passengers 1670. The following are the returns of inward and outward passenger traffic yesterday; inward.
