EXTENSIVE OAVES. ANIMALS AND BIRDS. (Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright.) ADELAIDE, January 13. The discovery has been made of extensive caves of great beauty on Kangaroo Island. A large mill was found to be literally honeycombed. Twelve caves have already been explored, one for half a mile without reaching the end. The hill is of limestone formation, and the "walls of the caves are coated with beautiful glittering formations of various colours. Bones and footprints of animals and birds were discovered, according to the explorere’ report. They say that animals disappeared in one cave, into Hvhich a rope was lowered. This was heavily tugged, and when withdrawn was found to have been bitten almost through.
