(Received Nov. 30, at 10.20 p.m.) Speaking at an official welcome by the New South Wales Cricket Association to the New Zealand cricketers Mr Sydney Smith, honorary secretary of the Board ot Control, said it was regretted that the next Australian XI could not visit New Zealand on the way to England. There was, however, a chance that it would return via the Dominion.
