RIFLE SHOOTING
KAITANGATA v. DUNEDIN. One of the most pleasant days experienced was the verdict on the annual match between the Kaitangata and Dunedin Clubs held on Monday at Kaitangata. After a very exciting finish the home team won by the" narrow margin of three points. The conditions were; Seven shots and an optional sigh ter at each of the 500yds, 500yds, and 600yds ranges. It was a very keen competition, fn fact both teams finished level at 300yds. When the last two men got down at 600yds, the Dunedin team wore one point in the lead, and but for a clean miss by (ho Dunedin man in his third shot, the result might have been a draw, or perhaps a win for Dunedin by one point.
