TRAGEDY AT KARITANE. DUNEDIN WOMAN DROWNED. A sad drowning fatality occurred at Karitane yesterday afternoon, Mrs Caroline Kathleen Daglish, wife of Mr Ralph Daglish, of the Banquet Tea Company, Dunedin, whilst bathing below the bridge over the Waikouaiti River at Karitane, yesterday afternoon, got oat of her depth and was drowned. The accident was witnessed by deceased’s two sisters-in-law, neither of whom was able to render any assistance. The deceased, who was 25 years of age, had been married only two and a-balf years. The body was brought to town last evening, and an inquest will be held to-day.
