ho is Telling 1 I the truth; The Liquor Traffic recently published a statement adverse to Prohibition, which, they and an obscure American Newspaper, allege, was made by CoL William L. Barker, Head of the Northern Division of the Salvation Array in the U.S.A. With the full knowledge and consent of the Commissioner of the N.Z. Salvation Array, the N. Z. Alliance published the facts and a specific denial that Col. Barker had ever said any such thing. Here is a copy of the cable received by the N.Z. Salvation Army from the U.S.A.
