THE FIRST PRIZE. The first nrizo in the Dominin All Gold Art Union was divided by two men—Air IV. U. Brown and Air George Davidson. Mr Crown is a partner in the firm of .1 EUaes Crown and Co., accountants, and Mi' Davidson is the secretary of ' the Commercial Travellers’ and Warehousemen's _ Asociation. Both men were naturally delighted with their srood fortune, and when seen bq a Daily Times" reporter yesterday explained how the division came abont. Mr Brown and Mr Davidson both work at Mr James Brown’s office, and when, shortly . before the closing date, a hook of tickets, was sent to Air Brown, they decided to buy it between them, and to divide the. prize, if any were forthcoming. The odd ticket was given to a young I ady who works ■in the office.. It was a lucky decision, for included in the book was the winning ticket. COLOSSAL ART UNION. The next and find big art union is the colossal £SOOO which is to be drawn in Dunedin on December 21. The tickets are 2s each, or book of 12 for £l, can be purchased from tobacconists, booksellers,- and fruiterers, or from the secretary, H. Divers, 193 Princes street. The first prize is £3009, and, if correctly invested, should return an annuity of £4 per week for life. Follow the lucky investors, Alessrs Brown and Davidson, the winners of the first prize in the Do- - minion All Gold, and purchase n ticket in the Colossal.
