PLUNKET SHIELD DATES.
(Per United Press Association.; V,-ELLINGTON, October 19, The Wellington Cricket Association de-
cided to-night to write to the New Zealand Cricket, Council requesting that a match be arranged between _the Wellington reoresentatives and the New Zealand 1 team to tour Australia on Novmber 18 and 19.
The Otago Cricket Association wrote sug- ' gesting January 29 and SO and February 1 as .the dates for the Otago-Wellingiorv Plunket Shield match. In view of the fact that the anniversary of the Wellington nrovince falls on January 22, it was decided to request Otago to bring forward the dates on© week.
