A pleasing feature is the excellent entry that has been received for the choir contest. Seven choiis will be competing m the choir contest—three in the ladies’ choir contest and two m the male choir contest, while there will be two in the school choir contest. Excellent entries have been received for the combined ballet, and those have been divided into two competitions, the first being hold on the opening night and the second on the final night of the competitions, while there will bo first-class competitions in every other section. Everything points to the twenty-fourth festival of the society being a highly suceesstul one. The box plan is now open at the Bristol, and a limited number of season tickets are on sale. They can be obtained on application to the secretary.
