The Paris correspondent of The Times states: “There is little news regarding Syria, where a National Government is reported to have been proclaimed. The French Government is confining itself to issuing denials of further disturbances, and ’ reaffirming that the situation is perfectly normal. Tho only information vouchsafed shows that French aeroplanes were engaged, and by moans of bomba and maebnie-gun fire they prevented the DAsos from dangerously attacking tho Sueida garrison.”—The Times.
