'• Mr Reginald Cornelius Vanderbilt was a son of Cornelius Vanderbilt, the multimillionaire. and he himself possessed enormous wealth. He was very largely interested in innumerable projects employing, wealth. Hia personal predilections were for horses, dogs, and cattle. He was an expert judge of animals, and possessed , some of the best specimens obtainable. He belonged to tho world-famous Knickerbocker Club.
