CHARGE AGAINST AUSTRALIAN. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, September 9. Gray was acquitted.—A. and N.Z. Cable. George Gray, alias M’Oraig, described as an Australian breeder, was committed for trial on a charge of breaking and entering a house in Clarendon place, Hyde Park. Gray appeared in court on crutches. It was alleged that ho made a “cat burglar’s” climb to the balcony, and was found asleep on a settee on Sunday morning by a parlour maid. It was stated that when he was discovered Gray' made a wild dash for the window and_ jumped ' over the balcony railings 55ft into the area below, breaking his leg and four toes and suffering internal injuries.
