Tho Riga correspondent of The Times says: “A united front by the Communist and Socialist Non-party Workers” is the latest Soviet slogan, which they are attractively dangling before the various Labour delegations who are continuing to visit Russia. “The Red front is growing,” declares M. Zirtovieff, who urges that the present task of all Labour leaders is to compose their differences, thus tho way to a true proletarian unity. “The time for fighting and barricades has not yet arrived,” he said. “Now is the period of respite, when we must learn to know how to persuade one another.” —The Times. BRITISH COMMUNISTS. ORIGINAL PLANS MODIFIED. LONDON. September 8. The Communists, learning that the police arc in possession of secret instructions for mailing immediate arrests, modified their plans. They announce that the agitation will not touch the Army _or Navy, but will be confined to tho factories. —Sydney Sun Cable.
