CONCERT AT MOSGIEL.

A packed house greeted Mr Josse While and his students at the Town Hall on Wednesday evening, when a first-class programme was presented in aid of the funds of the Methodist 'Church. The following appeared in song and recitation: —Mrs W, Smith, Misses M. and C. Somerville. E. Sharpe, M. Ross. J. Bews, A. Campbell, Messrs Goo. Currie, J. Rodger, whilst Mr Jesse White was a host in himself in his humorous announcements. The well-known humorist Mr Percy James gave several sketches in his own inimitable stylo winch tickled the risibilities of the audience, moving them to tears of laughter. The accompanists were Mrs P. J. Blaclcman, Mrs Walter Haggitt, and Mr Jesse White. Altogether the concert was voted one of the best given in the district for some considerable time, and the funds of the church will be greatly augmented by the generous effort of Mr White and his party.
