De Frece suggested that the British Nationality Act should be amended so that a British woman should not lose her British status by marriage until by the law of her husband’s country she bad acquired his nationality. „ Mr G. Locker-Lam psou (Under-Secretary for Home Affairs) replied that the Government would further consider the matter when the opinions of the dominions had been received.
