Yorkshire: First innings 414 for nine wickets declared (Oldroyd 86, Kilner 59, Rhodes 114 not out). Somerset: hirst innings 148 (Earle 55). Robinson, five f or 65. Second innings 116. Macauley took four for 29. Yorkshire won by an innings and 150 runs. Sussex: First innings 147 (Watson 63). M‘Donald took five for 83. Second innings 124. R. Tyldesloy took seven for 43. Lancashire; First innings 415 for nine wickets declared (Hallows 163, E. Tyldesky 82). Lancashire won by an innings and 144 runs. For Kent against Warwick, Freeman took five for 46 and Wright four for 11, including the hat trick. For Warwick Cook took five for 22, Kent won. Bor Essex against Northants Perrin scored 102. Douglas took five for 52 and Nichols five for 63. For Northants Wright took six for 109. Essex won. For Worcester against Gloucester Root in the first innings took six for 62 and in the second five for 63. For Gloucester Parker took eight for 42.
